On February 3, 2023, The New York Times released an article discussing how the Ex-louvre chief in Art is having charges brought against him for Art Trafficking. I find this particularly interesting as the Ex-chief, Jean-Luc Martinez, was in such a good position to have trafficked art of high quality.

On February 24th, 2023, Jean-Baptiste Reddé was recognized in the New York Times for protesting in almost every occurrence over the past decade. I chose this article due to it representing something similar to the spirit of French and American citizens. Determination to speak for what we desire.

On March 15th, 2023, The New York Times discussed France raging the retirement age by 2 years from 62-64. This has led to protests by many groups including garbage workers. this has led to the garbage not being picked up for days. This is interesting to me because America may be seeing a raise in the retirement age and seeing this occur might encourage Americans to go against an increase in future years.

April 6th, 2023, The earlier protests due to the retirement age mentioned prior were discussed once more in the New York Times due to the number of people protesting actively in the streets waning. I chose this article because I find it important to understand the length of time these events happened.
