For the 2024 Summer Olympics games, Paris, France will be hosting the multi-sport event which is schedule from 26 July to 11 August. This will be the third time the French capital hosts the summer games, as the previous years were 1900 and 1924. Many sports will be held during the event including recently added sports of surfing, skateboarding, and sport climbing. There will also be a newly added sport called breaking, also known as breakdancing. However, France is boosting their security level this year to protect tourists and sport fans from terrorist attacks. They have asked other foreign countries to help contribute with any military, police, and security in order to protect this year’s Olympics. So far, the foreign countries are responding in a good manner with Poland agreeing to send troops to them, Britain and Italy sending a dozen police to assist the streets, and Germany agreeing to help contribute.
