- Why is it important to study a world language.
Not everyone speaks the same language as you do. It’s important to study a world language so people can have cultural awareness and understand another countries lifestyle. For example, when you go to France there are a lot more bakeries that your average country and certain grocery stores that only sell fruits or vegetables. Taking a world language course will help you connect with others outside your home country and may benefit you in the future. - Why are you studying French?
Before taking French, I took Spanish during high school, and I enjoy learning about Spanish-speaking countries lifestyles and traditions. In this case, I had thought that since I enjoy learning about Spanish, it would be interesting to learn about French since it’s one of the top 5 language. Since taking this class I have grown to love learning about different cultures and traditions from French-speaking countries, and I like learning French so that it may help my future out. I do plan on write a poem in French during the Summer.
