The greatest thing I learned in cell biology is about the life cycle of a cell. I found myself obsessing over the cell death, apoptosis and necrosis. I have fallen into deep interest with the subject and how the body responds to both types of death. I’m not for sure how exactly cell death is going to help with dentistry but I’m curious to find out. I have also enjoyed learning about the pathways to activate and deactivate proteins. This has been an amazing class and I’m happy I had the opportunity to take it.
