For my first TalkAbroad experience, I decided to have a conversation with Daniela Giraldo, a student from Colombia. With this being my first time trying out this talking service, I wasn’t too sure what to expect. I spent a few days prior to prepare myself for the conversation by practicing with my grandmother (even though the stuff we talked about didn’t have much to do with what I spoke with Daniela about).<\/p>\n
Once our conversation actually starting, I already knew I was freezing up and I didn’t know how to handle it. However, Daniela did an amazing job keeping the conversation going. I am so grateful to have selected an amazing conversation partner.<\/p>\n
After the conversation and reviewing the audio, I found myself noticing that I was avoiding certain terms. With that being said, I need to review my knowledge of vocabulary and expand my range.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
