Hola, my name is Gabriel Arlanza, and I am currently a sophomore student studying Graphic Design here at Old Dominion University. I am a Virginia Beach Native and have live here all my life. Some things I like to do outside of school is either painting or drawing and playing guitar. In terms of my major, I chose Graphic Design due to my interest in creativity and vision.

Beginning Spanish 101 is my current foreign language class at ODU and first language class I have taken in my life. Adding to note, I have never taken any foreign language class in either middle or high school, so this all sort of feels very fresh to me. Although it may have its challenges, I am very excited to continue my learning of a new language and new culture.
