As the CISO of my company, it is important that I implement measures to ensure the availability of our systems. To do this I will create an incident response team, that, with great training, incident awareness, communication, and teamwork, can resolve any incidents that may occur. As a team, we will create an incident response plan to quickly and effectively react and eliminate the threat, and establish policies to try to prevent anything from happening in the first place. We will prioritize different levels of incidents, depending on how threatening they are to the organization. Obviously, we will tend to the more serious matters first, and the less serious ones after. We will keep logs, have monitoring systems, and be attentive to any reports from our users. This will help ensure the availability of our systems by keeping any threats at bay.
