The major I am pursuing is nursing. All my life my parents have told me that the healthcare field is a great field to be in and that it has many benefits. I chose nursing because of the way my parents portrayed it to me and because I love helping people. Having a nursing career will allow me to be able to move up in my field and have a good paying job which is also why I want to be a nurse. Additionally, some experience I have in the healthcare field is that I worked as CNA last summer. Through a nurse aide class, I took in high school, I obtained my CNA license and learned all the basics of taking care of patients. From my experience as a CNA, I learned that I definitely want to be a nurse because of how rewarding it was to take care of people who needed help and to see them improve.
