The major that I am pursuing is Nursing. The reason I want to become a nurse is because  ever since I was a child I can remember always wanting to help people out whenever I could. I have had multiple surgeries in my life that was really intense for my family  but, the doctors and nurses were always marvelous when treating me. The nurses pushed me and made me realize that I was strong and that no matter how hard it got that I could always fight harder. Their selflessness inspired me to grow up wanting to help other people out that are sick whenever I can. I want to be able to be given the opportunity to help people work towards a healthy state of being. I don’t currently have any experience in the nursing field but, I plan on volunteering at hospitals or any health events to help me gain a hands on experience.
