information on the specific area of study, but they can provide a beneficial overview of past works that
can influence further action into the research being reviewed. These articles are incredibly valuable to
researchers, as they give them differing perspectives and context to their research.
The scientific peer review process is the method used by credible journals to ensure high quality
and validity of research before publication. Through peer review, a scientist\u2019s research is given an extra
layer of credibility beyond the author\u2019s own certifications. This process begins when a completed
research or experiment manuscript is submitted to a research journal editor. The editor of this research
journal will review the submitted manuscript and decide if the work meets the standards of the journal.
Once approved, the manuscript is sent to a board of reviewers who are experts in the subject being
studied. These reviewers then evaluate the overall relevance and validity of the research manuscript. After evaluation, the reviewers may approve, reject, or request revisions to the manuscript. If approved, the article and it is requested edits are sent to the editor. The editor can choose to accept or decline the
