Sometimes if we want to succeed in a task, job, or activity, we need an outside resource to guide us in the correct path. In my case, professors are my path to success. They teach me how things are done correctly, and what things I need to improve. On the other hand, sometimes we have to teach ourselves. In this class, this is done by having a portfolio, in which every essay is stored so you can take a look whenever you want. This portfolio helped me improving my writing skills, and making me take writing more seriously.

We are always improving, even if we do not notice. Every piece of information we get makes us better and smarter. But sometimes it is hard to see this improvement. Being able to access this website in which I can upload my work and, within a difference of a click, I can see all my writing essays and journals, is very helpful. Thanks to this I can truly say my writing level is increased.

Before starting to write, I did not give it that much of a importance. Not only the portfolio made me change my mind, but also the fact that writing is going to be all over my university and work life. This website is going to be on the internet, and internet is full of users. Even if my blog is not going to have a lot of visits, there is still the chance for somebody to end at my front page. So knowing that people is going to see my work, makes me work harder to look like I am good at this skill.

This blog has been very helpful. I am sure I will end up using it again sometime in the future, and thanks to it, now I can see in what parts I need to work harder.
