Googling Yourself Grace Hattler 9/2/19

In all honesty I have googled myself before, just to see what information pops up if someone looks up my name. It is kind of horrifying how much information can be found online about myself, let alone other people. The most concerning to me is that my place of employment is one of the first links after looking up my name. As I work at a school with young children, this is of particular concern. One could easily look up the school and track me down at my place of work. Additionally, people would find some of my social media pages, but I have tried my hardest to make sure they have strong privacy settings as privacy, ESPECIALLY on the internet, is very important to me. I get paranoid knowing people can easily find me with just the click of a button. My relatives also pop up when googling my name, sometimes even accompanied with addresses, but luckily none of them are up to date. In the age of technology, no one’s information is really private.
