Artifact Three:
The artifact I engaged with the most was the “Are People Who Help Happier?” archive in module eleven. I enjoyed this activity for my third top artifact because I had the chance to think about most of the close relationships I have in my life. With listing out their names, it was amazing to see that everyone I chose was happy and unselfish. To continue, at the end of the exercise, I was able to see that all the people I chose would interact in prosocial behavior. By having the desire to help others, it decreases the amount of selfishness that would take place in the individual.
In addition, as it relates to the activity and prosocial behavior, I learned that the people I chose wouldn’t engage in the act of pluralistic ignorance. Before a situation has the chance to turn negative, these individuals have a way to decrease its likelihood of reaching that point. Even if they may not know how to help another person, they will take the actions necessary to ensure the person is taken care of. Further, this exercise enhanced my knowledge around prosocial behavior by simply allowing me to apply it to the individuals around me. It helped me understand that when thinking about helping someone else, we as people have a responsibility to remove the pride whether we know the other person or not. In brief, the image I chose represents the different people in my life as well as whether they were happy or unhappy and selfish or unselfish.

Artifact Two:
The artifact I engaged with the most was found in module seven referring to attitudes and behaviors. I enjoyed this archive the most because it helped me see how I can begin to change my mindset when it comes to the decisions I make. It also focused on the concept of cognitive dissonance. For instance, as it relates to cognitive dissonance and creating a budget for my finances, I can combat the emotions of uneasiness and sadness by remembering my “why” in building the budget. In addition, I can recognize that everyone’s finance journey is different. This allows me to stay focus on the goal I have in mind. Through this example, I learned that in order to change my behavior regarding a subject it starts with my mindset and attitude around it.
Furthermore, by completing this archive, it opened my eyes to how many times I’ve allow external forces to have a say on how I show up in the world. For instance, when I think about making a video for my YouTube channel, I can feel myself becoming anxious due to overthinking about how my audience will perceive me. I learned that I have to get out of my own mind in order to let go of who someone expects me to be. This will lead to me operating in my true self. In brief, this archive expanded my knowledge by showing me the importance of becoming aware and removing belief systems that no longer serve me. Lastly, I chose the following quote by Robert Thurman because it accurately expresses the fact that by gaining and applying new knowledge, it will help an individual overcome the feeling of cognitive dissonance.

Artifact One:
The artifact that I found interesting the most was the “Similarities Lead to Attraction or Opposite Attract” Study. I enjoyed this activity because I received more responses than I was expecting. For instance, when one person answered the question, someone else would jump in and give their perspective. With collecting nine responses, it allowed me to consider which perspective I favored when it came to the topic. In brief, I chose the following image due to it showing the different viewpoints from each participant.
Moreover, from this activity, I learned that two people can be attracted to one another; however, a relationship may not be pursued. This may be due to the fact that they are too alike in their traits or leisure pursuits. On the other hand, when opposites attract, one person is able to learn the other on a deeper level. To follow, by completing this activity, it expanded my knowledge about what causes individuals to have specific emotions. Particularly, how attraction is determined by various factors, such as, an individual’s personal interest, how they look on the outside, or whether they’re a certain ethnicity.

I chose the following image due to it showing the different viewpoints from each participant.
