In Spanish 311, I learned how to give many different types of speeches. Each module reflected on a different type of topic. And, in each module, I was given different homework to help me learn to communicate in a different way. The class taught me a lot about how to speak in public, how to organize a speech, and how to keep my audience interested. This class helped me learn to speak a lot more fluently while covering a variety of topics.

Modulo 0 – Introducción

In the introductory module, I was able to meet my professor and classmates.

Modulo 1 -¿Realidad o Fantasía?

In the first module, I learned some basic information on how to give a speech in Spanish, how to analyze, and how to create a debate.

Modulo 2 – Una cuestión de personalidad

In the second module, I learned about verbal and nonverbal communication, how to read and create narratives in the past tense, and continued learning how to create a debate.

Modulo 3 – La influencia de los medios

In the third module, I learned more detailed information on public speaking especially focusing on public speaking anxiety.

Modulo 4 – Las garras del poder

In the fourth module, I learned how to connect ideas to my own opinions to further my ability to debate.

Modulo 5 – Misterios del amor

In the fifth module, I solidified my knowledge on public speaking and debates.
