Explain how the principles of science relate to cybersecurity

Relativism posits that all things are connected. In regard to cybersecurity, advances in technology can greatly affect individuals in either positive or negative ways, but not both. Technology can influence daily life in various aspects, including socially, emotionally, physiologically and more. Simply put, advancements in technology can significantly change a person’s daily experience. Scientists must follow ethical principles while conducting research. Ethics define what is morally right and wrong. For instance, a participant may not wish to disclose certain information despite its significance to the research. Researchers must respect their privacy if they choose not to reveal it. Regarding cybersecurity, what’s the appropriate retention period for a company to keep its customers’ data? Is collecting personal information ethical?
