To place the NICE Framework(National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education) in short<\/p>\n\n\n\n
perspective, is a national resource tool to help employers or anyone involved in<\/p>\n\n\n\n
cybersecurity standardize their knowledge of their cybersecurity work relatable to others<\/p>\n\n\n\n
in the field, is like standardizing a common lexicon describing it to everyone regardless<\/p>\n\n\n\n
of where and whom cybersecurity work is performed. The beauty of NICE is that its<\/p>\n\n\n\n
framework is related across public, private and academic sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The way the Work Roles Categories should be rank im my opinion are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1- Design and Development- Something has to be created<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2- Implementation and Orientation- It has to be implement to test faults and direction<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3- Oversight and Governance- Management<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4- Protection and Defence- Develop protections<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5- Investigation- After the fact, something happened<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All the fields are important, there is such an array of fields and jobs available in<\/p>\n\n\n\n
cybersecurity that makes it hard to choose. But to say the least my interest lies with<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Oversight and Governance, most of my life has been in management and leadership<\/p>\n\n\n\n
positions, so it comes easy when creating plans, training and strategies etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another field I am very interested in when it comes to cybersecurity is Protection and<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Defense, which means a secure job working for the government. My dream job is<\/p>\n\n\n\n
working on cybersecurity in an US Embassy somewhere overseas, especially Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Investigation Category comes to mind because I have a BS in Criminology, but<\/p>\n\n\n\n
investigating cyber crime is just part of the job in cybersecurity so it goes hand in hand I<\/p>\n\n\n\n
believe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don’t find any category that does not interest me, I am new in the field and I feel like a<\/p>\n\n\n\n
kid in a candy store. Everything is part of a bigger picture and I love how everything<\/p>\n\n\n\n
