The General Assembly Internship Program is a great opportunity for students to acquire practical knowledge and hands-on experience with the legislative process through working full-time with state legislators during the General Assembly session. The session runs between\u00a0January 9, 2019 through February 23, 2019<\/strong>. Working closely with legislators and their staff, interns develop professional skills while strengthening their political knowledge and gaining a unique understanding of Virginia’s General Assembly.
