Fellows will work with Delegate Guy and the<br>campaign team to execute the campaign\u2019s organizing plan. During their time, fellows will gain<br>insight into the workings of a highly competitive legislative campaign.<br>The Fellowship program is designed as an 8-week minimum commitment. The campaign can be<br>flexible with individual start dates.<br>While the Fellowship Program will be predominately organizing-focused, fellows may be<br>exposed to other aspects of the campaign, including campaign fundraising and digital<br>communications.<br>Responsibilities could include:<br>\u25cf Assist with organizing campaign\/volunteer events<br>\u25cf Lead volunteer trainings and Zoom meetings<br>\u25cf Provide assistance to volunteers when needed<br>\u25cf Assist with volunteer recruitment and engagement<br>\u25cf Assist in fundraising research<br>\u25cf Assist in researching and drafting digital content<br>\u25cf Engage with voters directly through calls and in-person canvassing<br>\u25cf Meet daily\/weekly goals and submit reports as needed<br>\u25cf Other duties as assigned<br>Skills\/Qualifications:<br>\u25cf Positive, can-do attitude<br>\u25cf Strong interest in community organizing<br>\u25cf Strong interest in learning the inner workings of a competitive House of Delegates<br>campaign<br>\u25cf Commitment to protecting the Democratic majority in the Virginia House of Delegates<br>and keeping Virginia blue<br>\u25cf Must be available to work 10-15 hours a week<br>\u25cf Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment<br>\u25cf Access to a computer and cell phone<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf Familiarity with Zoom and Google Suite<br>\u25cf Willingness to engage with voters and volunteers<br>\u25cf Excellent verbal and written communication skills<br>Compensation:<br>The fellowship can be utilized for community service or school credit requirements, as permitted<br>and defined by an applicant\u2019s school or academic institution.
