My name is Gracie Moss and I am a rising junior at Old Dominion University. I am majoring in Ocean and Earth science with a concentration in environment science and minoring in conservation leadership.
I enjoy being outdoors and learning new things. I work at a park as a Park Ranger Technician so I tend to spend most of my time outside. I am passionate about the Earth and doing what I can to protect it. I am constantly pushing myself and branching out to try new things and absorb as much as I can about the world. I like to keep an open mind in my learning and am always open to new concepts.
I am also an intern at a nature summer camp and teach about sustainability, animal species, plant identification, birding, and everything else nature-related. I feel lucky educate others while getting the opportunity to simultaneously educate myself.
I have many hobbies that directly coincide with my work and studies and am never at a loss of intrigue. I partake in hiking, gardening, camping, and simply exploring.
I believe that my passion in my work and studies is a huge part in what motivates me and largely attributes to my success.
