Ready for more school work.
I am a very hard worker when it comes to being a student. I am very motivated and determined to learn anything, no matter how many times I fail. I may not be the smartest student; however, I try hard to get the grade I want. My current level of confidence as a student seems to be getting lower. A couple of factors that make it lower is second-guessing and very hard on myself. Second-guessing is something that I have been dealing with since the sixth grade. I spend so much time second-guessing that it takes me twice as much time to answer an assignment. I am very hard on myself as a student because I do not want to fail. Failing is not an option for me. Once I can get my second-guessing under control, then being hard on myself will be easier to deal with assignments. I can build my confidence by trying self-trust and understanding it is ok to take a risk. The factors that cause me to have low confidence puts a toll on completing a task. My self-efficacy results were pretty accurate. I can get the job done but not enough confidence to get my assignments done as quickly as I would like to. I chose this image because it shows me with my bookbag taking a mini-break from all the work. Right after this picture, I was headed to the library to spend three hours on an assignment that may have only taken me one hour if I would have trusted my first instinct.
