Why do entrepreneurs get in trouble with the law?
Entrepreneurs can get in trouble with the law all the time. Running a business doesn’t really come with a manual. It could simply be they didn’t know better or it could be they are doing it on purpose. Some entrepreneurs believe legal issues can be dealt with or resolved at a later date when this is not the case. People neglect to resolve the issue when it arises and it comes to bite them in the end. This is just one example of why entrepreneurs get in trouble with the law.
What does psychology have to do with marketing?
Psychology actually plays an important role in marketing. By studying how the human brain works we see that we are irrational, and our decision-making is largely driven by innate biases. By applying psychology to marketing we can anticipate buyer behavior and understand their cognitive biases. When we do this we know what makes a consumer want to buy something. Once we figure this out we use the findings and apply them to our marketing strategy to better sell whatever we are selling or offering.
What types of marketing sway my decisions?
The main type of marketing that sways my decisions is the brand imagery. This is pretty big for me. If a company directly goes against my interests for instance they don’t support something I support then I will not partake in their services. I know many people who will not support a business because they do not believe in the same things as they do and I think as a consumer I have every right to do this.
How can I pitch ideas better?
There are many ways to pitch better ideas. It is important to start with the problem and to connect with the audience. I feel like many people fail to connect to their audience and their idea or pitching style really doesn’t do well with the audience. This is really bad because you want to connect to the people who you are trying to pitch to. Another method to pitch ideas better is to simply practice practice practice.
What are my strengths and weaknesses in pitching?
I am quite new to pitching ideas so for right now I don’t think I can give an honest answer to this as I lack the experience. If I would have to guess at some I would say I think I would need to work on my delivery as I have done speeches before and I struggled due to being nervous. For strengths I believe I can do well with understanding my audience and what they are like. Which is important in giving a good pitch.
