I wanted to add this to my e-portfolio even though it isn’t a huge accomplishment for most people. It is and was for me though. During that time there really was a fear that I wasn’t going to graduate. There were a lot of personal battles I was going through at the time which made it harder. Despite those battles and the odds, I beat them and went on to be extremely successful in college. Most people expected me to fail but I prevailed and proved them wrong. This accomplishment is a major one for me. I believe this shows how no matter what if you are determined you can do anything. No matter the odds I prevailed and went on the be on the dean’s list and be a part of the honor society at ODU. This is extremely important to my e-portfolio as it gives a little back story of the struggles I went through and how despite the odds I graduated and even got into college. This was one of the most important days of my life so far.
