If I was a CISO for a company and it was my job to implement protections to ensure availability I would implement, firewalls, off-site backups, and I would make sure we had enough servers so if one got hit we would have some backups. These are just a few protections to implement, there are many more that would help ensure your site and the information in the site is available whenever someone needs it. The reason I chose these is because it helps stop cyber attacks and also some of them are a back up plan so if something goes wrong we can have the site back up in a timely fashion. I chose firewall so it will protect the site from possibly a DDOS attack. This would send fills to our servers to try and overload them. Hopefully the firewall will stop some of the files or whatever they are trying to overload our servers with. The off-site back up could be implemented to well have a back up if the main site were to go down this just gives a back up plan for if it goes down. I would also make sure we have multiple servers and back up servers. They handle the site so if one of the servers gets attack and the server goes down a back up could take its place and if all of the servers get taken down then that is where the backup site would come in handy. These are just a few there are many more ways to protect your sever for your business.
