I will interview the program’s director Ronald Ross, several members of his staff including Student-Athlete Mentors and teachers within the Newport News School System.

  • How does Christopher Newport University help the program?
  • Are there other sponsors or donors?
  • What is good about the program?
  • What needs improvement?
  • What is the current success rate of the participants?
  • What tools are participants of the program given to succeed?
  • How would you describe your relationship with members of the program?
  • Does student enjoy working in the community?
  • Are other community organization involved?
  • How does the program end for students and mentors?
  • Any awards of recognition for the program from the school, university, or community?
  • Have any students been accepted to the university and become a mentor in the program?
