I loved the field, but the further into the program I got the more I realized that it wasn&#8217;t quite my home. \u00a0From there I found Human Services and it has allowed me to feel at home while still offering me the opportunity to be involved with Psychology and other related topics that interest me.<\/p>\n<p>My current goal is graduating in May 2018. \u00a0Upon graduation, I will be attending graduate school somewhere and majoring in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Counseling. My passion is helping people, especially kids. I wish to combine the two with my future career goals to work with children and their families. Play Therapy is currently an area of study that I have found to be extremely fascinating. Although Play Therapy is what interests me the most currently, many different avenues of the field interest me. I cannot wait to experience and learn as I continue down my academic and career journey.<\/p>\n<p>I decided to take Cross-Cultural Psychology in an effort to not only enhance my cultural competency, but to also go down a different path within the Psychology field. \u00a0My main focus in both Human Services and Psychology are children and families.
