Capture Campus

In this Learning Community Event, we had speakers from the Virginia Beach Emergency Volunteer Responders and it was actually quite informative. Interesting enough I actually knew Mr. McCracken from my high school because he helped out in the EMR course offered.
This was a presentation by Ms. Martin, which I enjoyed because she was very organized and shared a lot of information that I was able to make connections to what Prof. Lopez had been teaching about in Sociology.
I attended this meeting with Mr. Reszak because of the inclusion of information about Puerto Rico which is where my family lives, so I grabbed my attention. His lecture or information session was great. He gave so many tips on doing applications and for interviews.

This event intrigued me because I was curious on if it would be a good looking guy or not, so I decided to go. It turned out to be so much more than that. Benjamin answered all the questions that we sent in from that one socrative and he let us answer any extra questions about his journey. It felt like a facetime call and he was just giving us advice. He even left to pee like twice, which a few students thought was pretty funny. I unfortunately forgot to take a picture.

This was not my best angle; however, this was a meeting with Prof. Lopez that he offered as extra help on a zoo field trip. I was actually hiking in Georgia during Thanksgiving break and decided to attend this 2 hour meeting. It was more helpful than I thought and I actually received a 100 on the quiz after this trip.
