The media can either deter us to think the wrong things or can be very useful and informational. That’s just how 50/50 it can be though. With movies we can see that many parts of it are overexaggerated. The realness is taken away from them because they have to compensate for the entertainment for their viewers as well. Meaning movies only highlight the more “cool” looking process of hacking, instead of showing the long dreaded time it takes to do these codes. Though with that same point, there are also some terms and realness that they put into it to make a viewer feel uneducated or sometimes scared. With that, these terms are actually a great learning experience if you are not too informed with the terms in hacking. More importantly very few of these movies can be relatable due to the same fact that there is usually a compensation for entertainment.
