When I reflect on this course, I feel like it was unsatisfactory. There were many issues that help me back from doing my best, whether that be stress from other classes, or the incident that occurred on March 12th, which had me afraid to go to class for a long time. For me, this year wasn’t the most optimal, and I missed a lot from class to the point where I felt like I was behind, and not learning anything. I tried to catch up the best I could, but there was only so much I could do since for some assignments, too much time has passed. The 8th Grammar Exercise is an example I will use; Below, I most likely would’ve gotten a better score, but since it went past the deadline, I unfortunately got a zero.

 

Even though I know this year won’t end well, I still appreciate the chance to be able to learn, and I am proud of the assignments I did complete. I would like to retake the class if I can so I can actually learn like I want to. I feel as though I was able to take in a lot of information however, and I learned some new things in Japanese that I didn’t know before, which I am grateful for.
