This is the beginning of my Japanese journey. Here is where I started learning beginning hiragana and how to read it. My professor was Shikimachi-Sensei, and he made the process easy with a simple formula where we would circle which row we were learning, read a list aloud, and finally write the characters. I would do the sheet at home, then go over the sheet in class. I placed an example of one of the worksheets below:<\/p>\n

Another example I have presented is the practice homework we had before the final exam. This was another variation of the homework, where we had to read a paragraph and answer some questions, as well as write sentences in Japanese to answer questions. The tests had this formatting as well, which made them simple. The test also had a listening portion, which really contributed to the listening and responses I would have to do for the VLT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
