Part of the fluid mechanics course was an optional semester-long group project where I acted as the technical leader. The technical leader’s job is to make sure the technical requirements are understood and fulfilled. The goal of this project was to get an idea of what working on a real-world project would be like with deadlines and working with a group of other engineering students. For this project, we were to design the coolant system for a new manufacturing facility given certain requirements. In this project, we designed the coolant holding tanks, piping system, pumps, and all valves using knowledge learned from the class.<\/p>\n
