About Me

From a young age I was fortunate to be surrounded by family and friends who were invested in my future, motivating me to strive for greatness with each endeavor. This support system instilled values of discipline, education, and service leading me to where I am today. I’m a current Cyber Risk Management student at Old Dominion University with an anticipated graduation date of December 2025. I graduated from Warwick High School as part of the Governor’s Health Sciences Academy, where I pursued studies in Nursing but ultimately decided upon a different path. Upon graduation I knew that I wanted to be of service to others in a way that will incorporate my interest of technology, thus leading me to ODU. I originally planned on majoring in Cybersecurity Operations but after taking statistic courses at Virginia Peninsula Community College, I knew that Cyber Risk Management was the correct choice for me. As I approach the end of my degree program I still find myself pondering what do after school, yet to be decided but I know I will be able to help my community as the people before me helped me.

Work Experience:

Most of my professional work experience is in retail with my first job being a Cashier at McDonald’s. From then on I found myself working in positions where I’m to from a connection with customers and ensuring them they get the best service possible. Currently I work as an intern at a homeless shelter serving as a connection to give people the services they need. While not related to my degree plan, I found a meaningful way to serve my community specifically our most vulnerable population.
