How has cyber technology created opportunities for workplace deviance?

Since the creation of technology it has continued to advance at an exponential rate, and has lead us to the digital age that we are in now. Getting to this point has not been without without its challenges but experienced innovators have continued to learn and adapt to continue this technological growth trend. Technology has become ingrained into the day-to-day lives of many people across the world, leaving many people vulnerable if a cyber attack were to occur. While most attacks are by outside parties some can happen within the company. An employee working with sensitive data, with enough motive, can easily acquire sensitive data. This can lead to it being distributed, sold, or used to exploit an intended target due to how valuable data can be. These individuals are experts within the field of cybersecurity so acquiring sensitive information will be easier than someone hacking the company. In some cases, people will go to a company with the sole purpose of acquiring that data to give to a competing company.
