4 Ethical issues that arise when storing electronic information about individuals:
Security- Most of peoples person information can be found or leaked very easily across the internet. This issue would be the most obvious and most privacy can be invaded.
Confidentiality- Leads off of security. Except confidentiality is going to be codependent of security. The most secure personal information is, the less likely it is going to be confiscated and exposed.
Accuracy- Most of the information we see today on the news, social media, and other forms of communication can be inaccurate. So it is important to know where the information is coming from and what your resources are. As things travel through the internet it is possible information has been tampered with or re-done to make it seem believable.
Implementation- Implementation can be the cause for inaccuracies as well. It is important to make sure your information has been implemented into your data correctly so nothing is inaccurate when it is received on the other end. This is also how incorrect information is spread.
