The major that I am pursuing is Dental Hygiene!

I have several reasons on why I chose this major! For starters, growing up I always knew I wanted to help people and the community. After being in service, I have worked with many different types of people from different places, with different ethnicities, and that speak different languages! I have to say it was one my favorite parts about being in service! I loved working with a variety of different people as it taught me to engage with people on a deeper level then I have ever before! Secondly, after doing extensive research the Dental Hygiene community just seems like a place that I would fit into, a place that fits me personally! I am so excited, and anxious at the same time to finally pursue my dream!

The most experience I do have in this field is working with a variety of different people! However, I would love to seek a intern opportunity this summer!
