End-of-Term Reflection
Over the course of my Cell Biology class, I have learned a lot about PXo bodies and the work necessary to conduct experiments on them, or at least how the experts conducted their experiment. Something that interests me in my biology major is looking at microscopic stuff through a microscope and seeing how they function. There are so many complex things that happen with life that cannot be seen to the naked eye. The experiments done by the experts on PXo bodies to see if they regulate levels of inorganic phosphate. While looking at the article that the researches posted with the results of this experiment, I found it fascinating how different florescent dyes could be used to identify different parts of a cell. While this course and subject may not be directly linked what I would want to do as a career, like working with conservation foundations that help marine life, I still learned a lot that may come in handy if the first choice does not work.
