Four ethical issues when storing electronic information.
There are many different ethical issues that organizations have to worry about when they are storing electronic information about individuals. These things can include selling individuals data to other parties, data inaccuracies, password protection, and privacy and confidentiality. One of the biggest ones that everyone hears about today is if a company is going to sell your data to other third party companies. Whenever you get on a website, it always asks you to consent to it possibly selling your data or companies will promise that they are not selling it. Another big one is privacy and confidentiality. People need to know that their information is safe and it is not going to get out to anyone accept who they gave access to it in the first place.
United States v. Bangladesh
The United States and Bangladesh are on two completely different scales when it comes to cybersecurity risks. Bangladesh is one of the most vulnerable countries when it comes to cyber space. In the country, the number of internet users are continuing to rise, which in hand, allows the number of attacks to rise as well. One of the most common attacks that people fall victim to is spam attacks. This can be compared to the United States because also in the U.S. spam attacks, or phishing, are the most common attacks. When it comes to the United States, they are highly vulnerable to attacks from enemy countries that are designed to hurt the economy. Something that both countries could do is to become better prepared for these attacks and take preventative measures before they begin to happen, so that hopefully there is less damage to deal with in the end.
