#5.

My fifth favorite ‘item to archive’ was from module 10. Even though, this was my least favorite out of the five, I still enjoyed it because I had the chance to examine my perception of time. With this archive, I learned that there are different people that I would wait different amounts of time for. There are certain factors that would have to look at depending on the person it was talking about. I chose this image because it shows how my perception of time is that it is moving slowly.

This was my fourth favorite ‘item to archive’ and it was from module 9. I enjoyed this one because I had the chance to learn about someone else’s views on these occupations. What I learned during this one is that even though we may come from different cultures, our views can still be the same or they can be close to each others. I chose this image because it showed off the results of doing this tasks.

My third favorite ‘item to archive’ was from module 3, the first one that we did. I enjoyed this one because I got to discuss what I believe is apart of my culture. I learned that there are many different things that you can consider apart of your culture such as gender, race, ethnicity, and your nationality. Something that I would say represents my culture is celebrating the Fourth of July. I chose this photo because it helps explain my nationality and the Fourth of July being a big part of that for many Americans.

My second favorite ‘item to archive’ was from module 4. I really enjoyed this one because I got the chance to learn something new about a different country that I do not know much about. With this item, I learned that some countries have similar values in their cultures, while others could not be more far apart, like the masculinity shows in this case. Something that I found interesting in this modules item to archive was how individualism is such a high value in the United States. That really shows through when people talk about the “American dream”. I chose this image because it shows the difference of values between the United States and Norway.

My favorite ‘items to archive’ that I did this semester would be the module five archive. I liked this item the most because I was able to see how my values lined up with my parent’s values. Something that I during completing this was how similar my values were, but also how different they ended up being. With that you can assume that I have developed my own values through societal and peer factors. I chose the image I did because it shows my parents and where I learned some of my values from.
