With the first project, we did I learned the basics of Spanish and how to start a normal conversation with other people and tell them who I really am.
My second project really thought me a lot. I learned how to have a back-and-forth conversation with another person and was able to ask them questions as well as answer the questions he had for me.
This third project thought me how to explain my day. I learned how to say the days of the week and was able to say what I did day to day and get into detail about what I’m doing and how i do it.
The final project that we had to do was another video explaining our favorite places to go around our university and what we did and did not like about them.
Engaging in Communities
I feel that it is important to be able to speak another language and talk to people of other cultures. You really can learn a lot about their home and where they are from. Their culture can be completely different than ours but can still be very interesting
Interpersonal Communication
I felt like all of the speaking we did in class and outside of class was a huge help. I felt that we were really able to do more because it wasn’t in class and we could go at our own pace. we were not forced to go fast or slow but were able to really focus on our weaknesses and tune them.
I feel that all the discussions we did that it helped me notice where I was struggling and where we were falling apart in Spanish speaking. Some of my classmates were able to tell each other where the other was wrong and was able to help them fix their mistakes and it made us better speakers.
Presentational Speaking
With us doing two different types of videos we were able to look back at said videos and see where maybe we had a small mistake and were able to make those adjustments. We were able to go back to a certain point and really see where we messed up.
With each one of our videos or presentations, we were able to hear where we messed up and fix it later. I would personally make it to where I we not over my lines a few times and be able t see if I hear any mistakes myself and then go up and do my own presentations.
