I have all A\u2019s which I\u2019m told is an amazing accomplishment. I do try to do all the work and textbook reading that is assigned as much as possible.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>What classes did you identify as needing assistance in?\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Math will forever be a struggle for me but so far, I do not need additional assistance than I already have. I do have a supplemental class and that helps me out a lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>What changes have you made (i.e. amount of time, location, campus resources, study strategies, etc\u2026)?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I haven\u2019t really changed anything besides doing all the work and extra credit I can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><em>Transition to College<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>What expectations did you have coming to college?\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I expected college to be much harder than high school. The classes were going to have harder content and a larger workload.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Have those expectations come to fruition, or not?\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If I am honest, not at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>How?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Classes are hard but not in the way that I thought they would be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>In what way is your college experience different from what you expected?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I have a lot of assignments, yes, but they are easy and relatively quick to do rather than the pages of long essays and thousands of pages to read from textbooks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>What has surprised you about your experiences so far this semester?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I am actually able to do all my assignments on time. In my senior year of high school, I struggled turning assignments in because of how much work I had but college is so much easier than I originally thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>If you live on campus:<\/em> What has been your toughest challenge with moving away to college? Easiest challenge to overcome?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I miss my family a lot. It\u2019s a struggle to drive back to campus when I visit my family over the weekend. As for the easiest, surprisingly waking up early for my morning classes. I am able to wake up and get ready as soon as my alarm goes off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><em>Major<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Name something you have learned about your intended major that you did not know at the beginning of the semester.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I did not know that my major has its own separate counselor once I become a junior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Have your feelings changed about your intended major? List some thoughts you are having.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Nope. If anything I\u2019ve felt more reassured with my major. Since I want to be a psychologist, Pre-health is the best option for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Is there another subject (major or minor) that you are interested in learning more about?\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Psychology for sure. I want to take it as a minor or maybe do a double major with it. I want to see what the workload would be as a double major when taking Pre-health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><em>Connecting to Campus<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Name one problem or challenge you have encountered this semester, and which resource(s) at ODU you have\/can utilize to assist with this situation.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I haven\u2019t had a major&nbsp; problem yet with this semester. Everything has been mostly calm for the most part. The only issue is that I get lonely sometimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Is there a friend, roommate, professor, advisor, or group in the ODU community who has helped you so far this semester? If so, how did they help you?\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve had some friends help me with feeling lonely. I hope to hang out with them more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Have you attended an interest meeting for a club? Why did you decide to get involved or not get involved?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I haven\u2019t. By the time I found out about them, the interest meeting was done or I couldn\u2019t attend.
