Lieutenant Elizabeth A. Jones was born on September 12, 1943. She was assigned to the 3rd field hospital in Saigon and she was killed in a helicopter crash in February of 1966.
Captain Mary T. Klinker was born on October 3, 1947. She was a flight nurse and she was assigned to Clark Air Base in the Philippines. She was on the C-5A galaxy and it crashed on April 4 outside of Saigon. They were evacuating Vietnamese orphans under operation babylift. She was awarded the meritorious service medal and the airmans medal for heroism.
First Lieutenant Sharon Anne Lane was born on July 7, 1943. She died from shrapnel wounds when the 312th evacuation hospital was hit by rockets on June 8, 1969. She was awarded with the Vietnamese Gallantry Cross with Palm and the Bronze Star for Heroism. They dedicated the recovery room at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Denver where she was assigned before the war in her honor. Also at Aultman Hospital which was where she attended nursing school they put up a bronze statute of her.
