My name is Tevenia Heatley. I am a senior in the Psychology program here at ODU. I have a particular interest in Organizational Psychology, because of the nature of my work with a company with many moving pieces. I currently work as a project coordinator for a commercial electrical and security infrastructure company. My goal is to continue my education in an MBA program and become a Project Manager for my company. Although Hampton Roads is a diverse area, thanks mostly to the military, as I’m approaching my 30s, I’m learning that I still have a lot to learn when it comes to understanding other people’s cultural experiences and how those experiences can shape the way that they approach the world. I’m hoping that this class will help me to become more aware of these things.
