Hello there! My name is Kat Hernandez and I am a junior at Old Dominion University as of this coming fall. I recently got accepted into ODU’s nursing program which I start this fall semester. I enjoy learning the intricacies of the human body and its processes which I look forward to using in the workplace as a nurse. I chose social psychology to satisfy my upper-division general education elective outside the College of Health Sciences, as well as to broaden my knowledge of the psychosocial interaction between people which I wish to apply when interacting with my patients. My current goals are to elevate my perspective on life and my presence in the world in order to communicate well and build better relationships with others.
