1.) Nursing Career Panel: 9/30/2020
At this event, we got to hear from nurses from different units. We got to hear about things from what they do in a day, to how COVID-19 has affected their job. We heard from and ER nurse, labor and delivery nurse, home health nurse, and a student who was in the Operating room.

2.) The Zip Code Effect: 10/14/2020
At this LLC event, we learned about how not just diet and exercise effect you health. We learned that even where you live can effect your health. The air quality can effect you health and can cause people to develop diseases such as asthma. Also, ones access to different foods can effect health. Some places may have access to cheaper prices, where others might be more expensive.

3.) Volunteer Rescue Squads: 10/21/2020 At this event, we talked about what one may have to go through to become a part of the rescue squads in VA Beach. We also talked about what the rescue squads see when they are working.

4.) Inter and Intra Culturally Informed Health Care: 10/28/2020

At this event, we talked about how important it is to treat patients and colleagues with respect no matter their race.

5.) Protecting Children Issues and Careers For Health Professionals: 11/19/2020:

At this event, when talked about a lot of important information. We talked about natural disasters and how to help in response to those. We also went over ways we can find a job.
