Nursing Career Panel: 9\/30\/2020<br>At this event, we got to hear from nurses from different units. We got to hear about things from what they do in a day, to how COVID-19 has affected their job. We heard from and ER nurse, labor and delivery nurse, home health nurse, and a student who was in the Operating room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/scamb002hlth101\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21499\/2020\/12\/IMG_2847-982x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-44\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2.) The Zip Code Effect: 10\/14\/2020<br>At this LLC event, we learned about how not just diet and exercise effect you health. We learned that even where you live can effect your health. The air quality can effect you health and can cause people to develop diseases such as asthma. Also, ones access to different foods can effect health. Some places may have access to cheaper prices, where others might be more expensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/scamb002hlth101\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21499\/2020\/12\/IMG_2845-665x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>3.) Volunteer Rescue Squads: 10\/21\/2020 At this event, we talked about what one may have to go through to become a part of the rescue squads in VA Beach.
