The importance of this redundancy principle example is that it states that learners can learn better just with animation and narration than visual text information, which is presented simultaneously with verbal information, becomes redundant material. Also, this is one of the ten steps of identifying the problem and then using the interdisciplinary approach to solve it. It lets the reader know the first step to solving a problem.
