Greetings!

My name is Hoang Nguyen. I was born in South Vietnam and moved to Denver, CO, in 2001. Currently, I live in Virginia Beach, VA, and am studying linguistics at Old Dominion University.

When I first moved to the United States, I was enrolled for two years in the public school’s ESL program. There, I made my first American friends and began my never-ending English-language journey. Through the years, my love for words and for language only grew.

While I have no current plans to pursue an English-teaching career, I think there is great value in studying language acquisition. Here, you will find some of the work that I have done in that field.
