Hello! My name is Mallory Holleman. I am 27 years old and I’m a Senior at Old Dominion University. I was born and raised in Virginia Beach, but recently moved to Chesapeake. My Major is English with an emphasis in Professional Writing. I decided to study Japanese due to my love of anime and Japanese musicians like LiSA, Yuki Kajiura, and Idol groups like Run Girls, Run!. In the fall of 2019 I began studying Japanese, so I am now in my third year of studying Japanese. My goals are to improve my understanding of Japanese writing styles, to become more comfortable speaking in Japanese, and to make friends with others who share my passions. I intend to continue studying Japanese after my time at ODU comes to an end this summer. I would love to travel to Japan in the future!
