There are many types if viruses and bugs in existence, that it may be difficult to tell if your computer is safe or not. Some viruses lurk quietly, without you knowing it\u2019s there, whereas others are more obvious with their presence, showing up as pop-ups or making your computer act weird. Many computers come with antivirus already installed, but that won\u2019t necessarily protect you from viruses all the time. People that struggle with computers, or technology in general, are especially vulnerable to getting viruses. To answer the question, there\u2019s no one way to know your computer is completely safe. I couldn\u2019t tell you if my computer is completely safe, despite the measures I take to try and negate the chances of getting a virus on my computer. The steps I personally take to keep my computer as safe as I can get it, is to not click any links I think are suspicious. I always check the entirety of the URL I\u2019d like to click, to make sure it\u2019s what I\u2019m actually meaning to click. When downloading something, I only download from sites or sources that I trust, and only things I deem necessary to download. I also like to go through my computer files, usually to delete the stuff I no longer use, but to also look for things that shouldn\u2019t be there or programs that look suspicious. I try to stay up to date on programs that I use to see if there\u2019s any information that later came out about them implementing a feature that takes your information for as long as it\u2019s on the device you downloaded it on. Obvious signs of something wrong with your computer is if there are files suddenly missing, your PC restarting randomly, your PC being unusually slow, and frequent crashes.
