In today’s society, many forms of love are more accepted and encouraged. Whether it be gay, straight, love is love in my eyes. How that love follows through in a person’s life is different for each. Growing from a friendship, being a “player” to name a couple. Or how we find that love, looking for specific traits or just finding someone who you just find really cool and get along with. In my own personal experiences, my first relationship grew from a strong friendship. I also had no expectations of her, no standards to hold to, just enjoyment of her company. Granted, we were in middle school, but even still, friendship and love grow from any age, we just don’t figure it out until later. Up to now, that same concept still applies. Holding someone to high standards is quite ridiculous if you ask me. I agree everyone has preferences, but expecting the perfect person to just waltz into your life isn’t the right move. Getting to know someone unlocks a beauty that you didn’t even know until you find out for yourself.
