I chose this unit because I personally love fitness. I go to the gym all the time. I think that group fitness classes is a great way to get comfortable with going to the gym. Group fitness is a life time activity that I can teach students now so they have a better understanding when they enter the real world. I also involved stretching because stretching reduces injury and helps with overall flexibility which is one of the 5 components of fitness.
